Dilip Kumar breathed his last at 7.30 am in Mumbai's Khar Hinduja hospital. He was 98. Dilip Kumar's close friend Faisal Farooqui had broken the news on Twitter. The veteran actor died after suffering from prolonged illness.
Director Shubhash Ghai took to Instagram and shared a throwback picture with Dilip Kumar. Sharing the post he wrote, "My words fail me to pay my tribute to Greatest legend of indian cinema DILIP KUMAR on his death anniversary today. He listened to his director in every scene as a student n perform like a master on the screen my most beloved actor and person both.. U are with us Saab.. ever ever.. Subhash Ghai (sic)."
