Only Ranbir Kapoor Can Make ‘OG Showman’ Subhash Ghai Strike Cool Poses For Camera

Ranbir Kapoor once again won hearts with his humble nature at an industry event last night. The actor came across the celebrated filmmaker Subhash Ghai at the venue and their interaction has gone viral since then. As soon as Ranbir entered the venue, he spotted the filmmaker and approached him. Ranbir was seen bowing down and taking his blessings. Subhash Ghai, on the other hand, embraced him happily.

In another video, they were both seen striking a pose together. Ranbir assisted Subhash Ghai in posing perfectly for the paparazzi. Subhash Ghai has also been fond of Ranbir Kapoor and his performances on screen. During an interview with a YouTube channel, Game Changer, Subhash Ghai has commented on the dearth of stars in the industry.

Subhash Ghai Praises Ranbir Kapoor

He noted that in recent years, only Ranbir Kapoor has emerged to that status. Subhash Ghai has stated that actors from today’s age are focusing more on brand partnerships and financial benefits than the profession of acting. “That’s why the 80s actors are still superstars like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Aamir Khan, and others. It is because they have come from that culture. In 10 years, who all became stars? No one except Ranbir Kapoor," said the filmmaker.

Ranbir Kapoor’s Upcoming Projects

Ranbir has an exciting work schedule ahead of him. He will star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, with Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, which will be released in March of next year. The actor is now working on Ramayana Part 1, co-starring Sai Pallavi. Ranbir plays Ram, while Sai Pallavi portrays Sita. KGF star Yash will now play Ravana in this film. Sunny Deol and Ravie Dubey will play Hanuman and Laxman, respectively. On the other side, Kajal Aggarwal and Rakul Preet Singh will play Mandodri and Surpanakha. Arun Govil, Kunal Kapoor, Adinath Kothare, Sheeba Chaddha, and Indira Krishnan are also involved in this project. The Ramayana will be released worldwide, with Part 1 on Diwali 2026 and Part 2 on Diwali 2027.
