Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Dilip Kumar were to feature in an action film together, reveals Subhash Ghai

Shah Rukh Khan is being celebrated on his birthday by fans and colleagues alike. Filmmaker Subhash Ghai praised the actor for his hard work, PR skills, and leadership qualities. Ghai shared a memory of SRK expressing his desire to work on an action film, which eventually did not work out. The filmmaker also predicted SRK's success as a businessman and expressed his deep love and respect for the actor. He concluded by sending his best wishes to SRK and his family.

Shah Rukh Khan is being showered with love as he turns a year older today. 2023 has been the year of SRK, after two blockbusters - Jawan and Pathaan, the actor promises yet another hit with Dunki.

ETimes spoke to filmmaker Subhash Ghai, who lauded the actor's journey and shared, "He has reached this stature because of his sheer hard work, deep sense of public relations and his team leader qualities. One quality to learn from him is how to respect and charm people, whomsoever you meet in any situation whatsoever."

Sharing a fond memory of SRK, the filmmaker said, 'I remember in 2002 when he expressed his inner desire to me, he said he was dying to do a big action film with me. So I wrote an action script for him titled Motherland, starring him with Amitabh Bachhan and Dilip Kumar. But eventually, he preferred some other film from other producer for his own reason that time.

Today I am happy for him that his action film Jawan is the biggest blockbuster of all time and I know he must be overwhelmed with it. God bless him." He further added, "I remember I had told him while working on Pardes that he will be one of the biggest businessmen amongst all stars in future. And I m glad that today he has become one. He gets what he wants. He is blessed with that quality in him."

On a concluding note, Subhash Ghai shared, "We still communicate our deep love n mutual respect to each other. And I wish him his family and his team the best of good wishes and blessings on his birthday. Stay blessed SRK, always."
