Mr. Subhash Ghai celebrated the Pravasi Divas in Gurgaon with the CM of Haryana, KapilDev & the Real Dangal Sisters Geeta Babita
Subhash Ghai had a conversation with CM of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar to set up a hub of media and entertaiment in Haryana after being invited as guest of honour by Haryana govt. on Haryana Pravasi Divas(a two days festival). Subhash Ghai held a detail discussions with Chief Minister and govt. officials to set up a world class media and entertaiment hub including studios, theatres and training centre. Mr. Khattar extended full support of govt. with the vision of Subhash Ghai who has already set up a world class state of art educational campus Whistling Woods International in Mumbai. Chief Minister shared his vision with potential NRI investors in developing haryana as software power too apart from other industries.
Subhash Ghai in his speech said "Its high time when fast developing Haryana must focus to develop media and entertainment industry including Audio-visual studios and training centres. The success of 'Dangal' has given a huge confidence to govt. and people to develop cinema and media industry at earliest."
During day Subhash Ghai met real Geeta and Babita of movie DANGAL who shared their experience with him how a film has boosted their sport and also the spirit of every Haryanvi. Both the sisters were pleasantly surprised when Ghai spoke to them in Haryanvi and revealed that he was graduated from Rohtak - garh of Haryana. He made their day.
